The Athletics Baseball Program (9u-18u) has been designed to aggressively assemble the most dedicated and elite baseball players in Arizona. Our program’s goal is to create opportunities for all players by way of quality instruction, local and national tournaments, developmental and college consultations and exposure to the college and professional ranks through showcases and recruiting profiles.
The Arizona Athletics programs are much more than just baseball – it’s about learning life lessons and creating a ‘family’ outside the diamond. ‘Family’, ‘Best Friends’ and ‘Brothers’ are all terms that our players use when they are involved in the Athletics program. Having talented players isn’t the only thing a team needs to win championships. Playing together and playing for each other are just as important.
Competing in over 20 tournaments with 9 teams (9U-14U) in 2013-2014, the AZ Athletics have played in 56 championship games including 28 tournament championships and 5 national championships! The Athletics teams won more championships than any club organization in Arizona.
Our Athletics Teams are separated into two teams at each age division – Black and Orange. The Athletics Orange teams will have 10-11 established players from that age group on the team and typically play in AAA or Majors level competition. The Athletics Black teams are players who are graded out 13-22 will be placed on the Athletics Black roster and typically play in AA or AAA if the staff feels like they can compete at that level. Beginning at the 9U age group and working all of the way to 14U the Athletics have a comprehensive baseball program where players will be developed to move to the next level each year.
